Purpose

First, I would like to say, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. For clarity of those who are unsure of what MST is – It’s the military acronym- Military Sexual Trauma.

I’m starting this blog as a hope for me to share my thoughts and feelings for those that need someone to relate to.  When all of the memories of that fateful night came crashing back into my life, my life and the way I was accustomed to going about my day to day took a compete different turn. I struggled to put to words what happened, what IT was and how I was going to move past the incredible emotions of anxiety and depression I was experiencing. By no means am I any closer to being healed, nor will I likely ever be healed. But this blog is an outlet of what I have endured; the resources and tools that the team of individuals I have chosen to help me maneuver through this journey with as I find my new path. This blog is going to include the good, the bad and the ugly. I believe that honesty is the best policy. If I can be but honest with myself, then I can truly find the direction of which I am meant to go.
